Teaching

Music-making is honestly one of the most amazing things we humans get to do! Music-making should be a creative, joyful, fulfilling, and enriching experience. I absolutely love sharing my passion for music with others and diving into the incredible world of sound together.

When teaching violin, my primary objective extends beyond training violinists. I strive to cultivate musical souls—individuals who find pleasure in listening to music, feel inspired and emotionally connected to musical works, comprehend musical language, and most importantly, experience genuine happiness when creating music themselves. The violin is just my tool of choice for making this happen—and wow, what an incredible tool it is!

Learning to play the violin takes time and commitment, especially in our world where everything else happens instantly. I find it deeply rewarding to guide my students through this journey and participate in their artistic growth. My approach involves tailoring teaching strategies to match each individual's age, skill level, and unique personality.

Music is also a wonderful way to connect with people—it's a language of its own that can express what words often cannot. Through music, we can touch and connect with each other, regardless of background or language.

I teach privately in Basel in German, English, or Hebrew, and can also speak a little Italian.
